Treat Tuesday-Cinnamon Chocolate Cake
This cake is so good, it’s dangerous. It is very similar to a Texas Sheet Cake but it is made in a traditional 9″ x 13″ pan.
You just need a mixing bowl and a saucepan. Melt the butter, some cocoa, and some water, then add to the flour and sugar with traditional cake mix-ins of eggs, and vanilla. Buttermilk and cinnamon round out the ingredients.
Pour into the pan and bake. While the cake is rising you can start on the frosting which is more cocoa, butter, and milk melted together with some powdered sugar whisked in. Then you pour the whole batch over a warm cake.
The hardest part is waiting for the cake to cool so you can eat it.
