This is probably the best category in the taste AND fun department! Birthday cakes should look and taste great. The frosting should not be too sugary. The cake should be moist. (In my humble opinion it should always be chocolate!) I made these birthday cakes for my kids when they were little, coordinating with their party theme. As we cake lovers know, we don’t require a special occasion for baking a cake!
