Wine of the Week-Pillars of Hercules Red Blend
Yes this label pulled me in on this bottle and this wine completely delivered! Matchbook Wines makes Pillars of Hercules. This is the company that also offers The Arsonist which I recently posted here as one of my very favorite reds.
When I uncorked the bottle, I immediately discovered that Pillars is a delicious red! It is a great, juicy, red blend which is comprised of Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Teroldego. This 2019 bottle is full bodied and juicy with a ton of flavor! Pair Pillars of Hercules with barbecue brisket and mashed potatoes. You can also open a bottle while cheering on your favorite football team.
Pillars of Hercules is from Dunnigan Hills, California and you need to have several bottles of this great wine stocked in your bar before the weekend!
