Treat Tuesday-Neiman Marcus CC Cookies
Do you need a quick treat for your Valentines today?! These cookies can be whipped up really fast and they taste like you spent hours baking.
Start with some high quality chocolate chips, one of my favorites right now are this Guittard brand and I found these Akoma Extra Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips…Akoma means heart!
Butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar are mixed together and then flour, baking soda, and salt are added to make the batter. In addition to the chocolate chips is some espresso powder that kicks these cookies up a notch!
Then simply scoop out the dough in rounded spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
Bake until firm around the edges and let cool. You can see the flecks of coffee in the cookies! They are the right amount of crunchy edges to soft center.
These are the perfect sweet for your sweetheart.
