Treat Tuesday-Cinnamon Ginger Cookies

Here is a quick and easy recipe that is similar to a gingersnap but with a bit more cinnamon. These come together quickly. You should allow about 30 minutes in the refrigerator before rolling the cookies into balls. This is an excellent recipe to have on hand during the holidays for a quick and easy treat.

Start by combining the flour and the spices. Next, in a separate bowl, beat the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the milk, molasses, and vanilla, beating well.

Finally, mix in the flour mixture until you have a fully combined batter. Shape the dough into a ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll the dough into balls and roll each ball into some granulated sugar.

Using the bottom of a juice glass dipped in sugar, gently flatten out each cookie.

Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cool on pan for 5 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cook completely. Store in an airtight container.
