Treat Tuesday-Cast-Iron Cookies

If you need a quick and easy recipe for your 4th of July party, this is the perfect crowd pleaser! It’s a thick, gooey, chocolate chip cookie with the great flavoring from a cast-iron skillet. Grab a gallon of vanilla ice cream and your party goers will be delighted!!

Start with whipping the brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

Next add in an egg, milk, and vanilla.

Whisk together flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.

Now slowly add to the butter mixture, beating at low speed.

Next add half a package of chocolate chips and stir to combine.

Spread evenly into a cast-iron pan.

Finally, top with the remaining chocolate chips.

Bake until golden brown.

Let cool for about 15-30 minutes then cut into wedges.
Uncle Sam would approve.
