Treat Tuesday-Apple Cake & Caramel Sauce

This Apple Cake is super quick and easy to make. The most time consuming part is peeling and chopping the apples, but after that it is a basically a dump cake and the fabulous Caramel Sauce comes together in one step!

Start with four cups of chopped apples.

Then blend the butter and sugars until creamy.

Finally add in the flour and apples.

The batter of this cake is not very photogenic but don’t worry, the finished product tastes incredible!

While the cake bakes you can make the Caramel Sauce. Add the butter, sugars, heavy cream and some vanilla, stirring while bringing to a boil.

The sauce will thicken slightly, then let it cool down.

Pour over a warm square of cake. Look at how the apples mimic apple pie!! So many fall flavors!
