Treat Tuesday-Fudge Brownies

I think I have a million brownie recipes, but each one is a little different in their own way and all are delicious! My favorite thing about this recipe is that sometimes you don’t need a giant pan of brownies and this makes a nice small batch. I will cut them into tiny bite-sized squares and refrigerate them for a bite of brownie that tastes like a rich piece of chocolate fudge.

Start by melting unsweetened chocolate squares. My favorite right now is Scharffen Berger. It is excellent chocolate and the squares are individually wrapped so you only have to open what you are using.

Next mix the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add in the eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended.

Finally add the chocolate mixture, flour, and vanilla, beating until you have a rich, fluffy batter.

Pour into an 8″ pan coated with baking spray. I use Baker’s Joy or Pam Baking Spray.

Smooth out the top and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes and then invert onto a wooden cutting board and let cool completely.

Cut into squares (I love to use Hells Handle square edge for this) and refrigerate.

Decadent!
