Wine of the Week-Trefethen Chardonnay

A month or two ago we had a wonderful opportunity to do a virtual wine tasting with the Trefethen vineyard and it was so much fun. The vineyard worked with a local club to suggest wine and cheese selections for the tasting. We social distanced with some friends on an outdoor patio, fired up our laptops and imagined we were in Napa!

Janet Trefethen led our tasting from her home overlooking the vineyard and we learned so much that night. I loved all the wines we tasted but this was one of my favorites. The Trefethen 2017 Chardonnay is crisp and fruit forward, perfect for a summer day.
