Wine of the Week-The Prisoner Red Blend

I have been drinking this wine for a few years and it is wonderfully smooth and evenly balanced.

It is a 2012 blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Charbono.  (Charbono is a red french grape variety, I had to look it up!).

I paired it with a filet and it was a perfect marriage.  This wine hails from Napa Valley and would be a great wine to take as a hostess gift to a dinner party.
