Wine of the Week-The Franc

I’ve been drinking a lot of my regulars lately, but I came upon this gem recently and had to share.  It is a 2014 Cabernet Franc from Hopland, California.  The back of the bottle describes this wine “like luxurious cashmere in a wine glass”.  That description nails it!

I served this with beef short ribs and it was the perfect match.

It’s is still winter.  Build a fire, turn on the Olympics, and pour a glass of The Franc.
