Wine of the Week-Humble Pie Cabernet Sauvignon
To eat Humble Pie: to apologize and face humiliation for a serious error.
So if the name of this wine is Humble Pie, I’m guessing it would be a serious error NOT to drink this wine. Error indeed, because this is a good cabernet. Smooth and juicy it is great with flank steak which is how I enjoyed it. Not too heavy, so great in the summer months if red sounds better than white wine.
This 2012 bottle is made in Central Coast, California. I also thought the name was appropriate for the holiday weekend, as American as apple pie!
