Wine of the Week-Heavyweight Merlot

Here is another bottle that I picked up because of the label, how could it not be good?!

This is a great red wine.  It is a 2011 Merlot that is wonderfully fruity with a slight oaky flavor that I love.  I had a glass of this wine with flank steak and roasted red potatoes and it was a perfect match.

This Merlot is made in Walnut Creek, California by Scotto Cellars.
