Wine of the Week-Elk Cove Pinot Gris

The temperature is still warm and I am still drinking white wine.  This bottle of Pinot Gris was delicious from the first sip, fruity but not sweet, a little spicy with a lot of body.  I started drinking this with cheese and crackers and then had a glass with a dinner of grilled chicken and risotto.  It was the perfect accompaniment to the meal and I would highly recommend this wine for your next picnic or tailgate!  Elk Cove is from Willamette Valley, Oregon.
