Treat Tuesday-Easy Spice Cake
Today was another one of those days (why have Tuesday’s been like this lately?!) I needed a quick treat, and since my air conditioner is still running full blast, I wanted to rekindle that fall feeling from last week by filling my kitchen with the smell of spices. This cake was it!
It’s almost like one of the those great dump cakes…a little flour…
Some fresh spices…
(hint: buy the best spices you can afford and check the expiration dates, now is a great time to restock the pantry before the holiday baking season ramps up)
Mix the batter gently and pour into a loaf pan.
Easy Peasy.
This is great on it’s own, but since October is tomorrow, you could add a scoop of Pumpkin Ice Cream. Let the seasonal baking commence!
