Treat Tuesday?-Chocolate Heart Cakes
It was a wacky week, but I did not forget about Valentines Day this week! So while Treat Tuesday may be a little late, I am on time for cupid!!
It all started when I found these adorable paper hearts. I decided to use a cupcake recipe to fill these and just adjusted the cooking time a little longer.
I’m a little over the top when it comes to Valentine’s Day. I think it is a great excuse to spend some time in the kitchen instead of fighting the crowds at a restaurant. I also like to decorate my kitchen table as if I were still in elementary school…
Every Valentine treat must include some chocolate and these little cakes have giant bittersweet chocolate chips swirled into the batter.
About 30 to 35 minutes and you have these wonderful, dense cakes. Once cooled, they beckon for more chocolate!
