Hash Brown Bake
This takes a little bit of cooking time, but you can be preparing other items for the Thanksgiving day meal and then enjoy this for brunch!
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. pkg. frozen shredded hash browns (I used Alexia's), thawed between two paper towels
- ⅓ cup butter melted
- 1 cup finely chopped cooked ham
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs beaten
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Press the potatoes into the bottom and up the sides of a deep dish pie plate.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the potatoes.
- Bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on a wire rack 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350°.
- Combine the ham and cheese. Spoon over the hash browns.
- Combine eggs, milk, and seasoning, whisking well. Pour over the ham mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
