Chip Cookies
This salty, sweet combination is delicious! I used Lay's Potato Chips in the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups potato chips crushed
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Cream shortening, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer.
- Add eggs, one at a time beating until combined.
- Add vanilla and mix well.
- Slowly add the flour and baking soda on low speed, just until mixed together.
- Stir in potato chips and chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a cookie sheet lined with a silicone mat.
- Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool on pan for 5 minutes and then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
