Sausage-Egg Wraps
These wraps are a little more healthy than a traditional breakfast burrito by using reduced-fat sausage, egg substitute (my family likes egg beaters original), and whole wheat tortillas.
Ingredients
- 1 12oz. pkg. 50% less fat ground pork sausage
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 1 16oz. carton egg beaters
- 6 8" whole wheat tortillas
- 1 ½ cups shredded colby/jack cheese
Instructions
- Cook sausage in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink.
- Drain off any liquid and add the hot sauce.
- Cook the egg beaters over medium heat, gently stirring until eggs are thickened.
- Spread sausage, eggs, and cheese into tortillas, roll up and place seam side down in skillet.
- Cook 2 minutes on each side.
