Slow Cooker Beef Brisket Tacos
This is a great weeknight recipe. Throw all the ingredients in the slow cooker first thing in the morning, and by dinner time, the brisket will be fork tender.
Ingredients
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 celery stalks sliced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 3 lb. beef brisket
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground chipotle chili powder
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Place onions, celery, and garlic in slow cooker.
- Rub brisket with salt and chipotle powder and place on top of vegetables in slow cooker. Top with cilantro.
- Cook on low for 8-9 hours.
- Remove brisket and shred meat with two forks.
- Place in tortillas, top with shredded cheese and salsa.
