Warmed Cranberry Brie

This appetizer looks beautiful on a platter for a holiday party and the spices give the cheese a fantastic flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 16oz. round of Brie cheese
  • 1 15oz. can whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 Tablespoons spiced run
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup chopped and toasted pecans
  • assorted crackers

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 500°.      
  • Trim rind from top of Brie, leaving a 1/3" border on top.  Place on baking sheet.
  • Stir together cranberry sauce, brown sugar, rum and nutmeg.
  • Spread mixture evenly over top of Brie.  Sprinkle evenly with pecans.
  • Bake at 500° for 5 minutes.  Serve with assorted crackers.
