Treat Tuesday-Applesauce Muffins

This Applesauce Muffin recipe is quick and easy, using just a few basic ingredients so you can have a treat on the table for breakfast in no time! I love to serve these fresh from the oven so they are nice and warm and the crunchy streusel topping is extra delicious.

Start with whisking Bisquick, sugar and cinnamon together.

Next whisk the applesauce, milk, canola oil, and eggs. I like to do this in a tall liquid measuring cup because then it is easy to add to the batter.

Add to the Bisquick mixture, stirring just until combined. Spoon batter into a lightly greased muffin pan.

Finally combine sugar, brown sugar, Bisquick, cinnamon, and some melted butter together with a fork.

Sprinkle the topping over each muffin.

Bake for 15 minutes and then let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Serve warm for breakfast or brunch.
