Wine of the Week-Rutherford Hill Chardonnay
This 2010 wine is one of those true white wine treats with a nice balance of fruit and oak. This bottle just begs for a charcuterie plate piled high with brie, salami, prosciutto, and boursin cheese. Add a few grapes or apple slices, some nice water crackers and you have a party on your kitchen island in no time flat! From Napa Valley this is the wine to open when friends drop by on a summer evening. It also works with a grilled chicken breast and a salad, or this would be a nice bottle for a hostess gift.
Even if you summer vacation has come and gone, linger in the moment again one evening with a glass of this chardonnay…you are worth it.
