Stir Fry Steak

This steak is super quick to make and tastes great over rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2lb. flank steak
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons dark sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced thinly
  • ¼ cup dry-roasted peanuts

Instructions
 

  • Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.    
  •  In a bowl combine steak with garlic and crushed red pepper.
  •  In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch and sugar, whisking until smooth.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  Add red bell peppers and stir fry for two minutes.
  • Add meat mixture and stir fry until browned.
  • Add soy sauce mixture and cook until meat is done and sauce is slightly thickened.  Serve over rice.
