Wine of the Week – Tassajara Pinot Noir
If you are looking for a lighter wine to serve with your Thanksgiving turkey this year, a Pinot Noir works exceptionally well. Finding one that is not too watered down can be a little tricky in my opinion, however with a little homework I have found a few that are quite enjoyable.
This 2019 Tassajara is a nice, light Pinot with plum flavors and a little spice and smokiness that tastes great with turkey and corn bread stuffing. When having such a large meal, it is nice to enjoy a wine that does not overpower all the great and rather heavy food!
Tassajara is made in Monterey, California and would be a perfect addition to your holiday table.
