Wine of the Week-Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir

This Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir is another great find from our Oregon wine country visit last year. The 2015 Dundee Hills bottle has gentle tannins that allow it to have great body (no watery Pinot here!) and juicy berry flavor without being too heavy of a red.

We visited Sokol Blosser on a beautiful August day, sitting on their fabulous patio overlooking the vineyards. We weren’t really looking to buy bottles, just enjoy the day with great friends but this wine sold itself!

When we got home and the bottles arrived, Sokol Blosser did not disappoint. It was as good as that great day in August…we just needed our friends to join us!!
