Treat Tuesday-Snickerdoodles
Happy September 1! I know it is not Labor Day yet, the unofficial end of summer/first of fall, but school has started and there are a few leaves falling, so I am craving fall spices. Cinnamon and sugar in these cookies will add that delicious scent to your kitchen and they bake super quick so you won’t even heat up the house.
Did you have cinnamon and sugar toast for breakfast growing up? There is something about this duo that makes everything they come in contact with taste terrific.
Even the cookie dough includes cinnamon and it is hard not to keep “tasting” it as every good cook should do in the interest of quality control!
You can see the sugar crystals on the balls of dough.
Sugar lives on my counter full time, along with flour and my mixer. Sure sign of a happy baker.
