Treat Tuesday-Peanut Butter Brownie Cheesecake
I seem to have a thing for peanut butter lately (always creamy), and this brownie crust is aaaammmaaazzzing! Slightly chewy, rich chocolate flavor, is the perfect complement to cream cheese and peanut butter. A small slice and a glass of milk with be the ultimate dessert at the end of the day.
You start with half of the brownie batter spread over the bottom of a springform pan.
After the crust bakes, you take the remaining brownie batter and gently place it up the sides of the pan and onto the edge of the crust.
The next layer is the peanut butter, cream cheese filling. I spent some time with the spatula and bowl after I filled this cake, the batter is so creamy!! Once it bakes, you add a sour cream/sugar topping. Then pop the whole cake into the fridge for several hours. For a finishing touch, shredded semi-sweet chocolate…just look at that crust!
