Treat Tuesday-Coffee Cake

If you need a quick and easy Coffee Cake for your next brunch, this is the recipe! It has a great streusel topping and the cake is the perfect amount of crumbly to accompany your morning cup of coffee. Whip this up in your mixer and enjoy the cinnamon aroma wafting from your oven!

Start by making the streusel topping by mixing together flour, granulated sugar, and some cinnamon.

Next cut in some cold cubed butter until large crumbs form.

Then stir together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Using a mixer, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then add in an egg and milk, finally finishing with the flour mixture. Blend until well combined then fold into a prepared pan.

Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the cake.

Bake for 30 minutes until a nice crust forms on the top and the cake has fully risen. Let cool slightly then serve warm.
