Treat Tuesday-Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
Have you carved your pumpkin yet? As Halloween approaches, pumpkin bread is in order. This bread tips closer to the side of dessert with the wonderful addition of mini chocolate chips. Cinnamon and cloves round out the spiciness and the pumpkin keeps this bread really moist.
The recipe is really like a quick bread, toss everything in the mixer, blend, and pour into two loaf pans. You can eat one now and freeze one for Thanksgiving morning.
The mini chocolate chips are the best in this bread. The larger ones would be too overpowering. (Chocolate chips should be packaged as a Halloween candy.)
Look at the wonderful, moist crumbs. Pour a glass of milk and enjoy a slice or two.
