Honey Carrots

Honey Carrots

Make these carrots about 30 minutes before the turkey is done.
Servings: 8
Course: Thanksgiving

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups water
  • 5 cups thinly sliced carrots
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon grated orange rind
  • salt
  • pepper

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.  
  2. Add carrots and cook for 20 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. Drain.
  3. Place carrots and remaining ingredients in a large bowl and toss until mixed well.
