Cranberry-Orange Chutney
This is a family favorite that looks beautiful on the Christmas dining table.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh orange sections
- ¼ cup fresh orange juice
- 4 cups cranberries rinsed and checked for stems
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup peeled, chopped Granny Smith apples
- 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Let cool and refrigerate.
- Reduce heat to medium low and let simmer 10-15 minutes or until all the berries have burst.
- Let stand at room temperature one hour before serving.
