Beef Spice Rub

I use this rub before I barbecue steaks such as rib eyes or flank steak. It is super flavorful.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients

4 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons brown sugar packed
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon black pepper

Method

Mix together and rub on the steaks. Let set 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the thickness of the meat.
