Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese
If you are going to make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, go all out with these succulent mashers!
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes washed, peeled, and cubed
- ½ cup butter cut into cubes
- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese cut into cubes
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Place potatoes in boiling water, and cook for 15-30 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain.
- Mash potatoes with a potato masher.
- Add cubed butter and cream cheese to hot mashed potatoes, stirring to combine. Add cream, salt, and pepper, serve hot.
