Treat Tuesday-Pumpkin Spice-Chocolate Marble Loaves
It’s officially pumpkin time! I was so ready to jump in the kitchen and starting baking scents of fall and these mini loaves were just the perfect start to my fall baking season.
The recipe starts with a basic cake mix that is super light and fluffy.
Once the batter is made, you divide it into two bowls. Into the first one you add pumpkin and wonderful pumpkin pie spices.
Into the second bowl of batter you add cocoa powder, sour cream, and instant coffee granules. (both of these batters are spoon worthy!)
Using mini loaf pans, I first spooned a couple of generous heaps of the pumpkin batter into the pan. Then a couple of scoops of the cocoa batter.
I then took a wooden skewer and ran it through the pumpkin and cocoa to marble the mixture.
Bake in the oven and then let cool. These are so wonderfully moist and the two flavors meld perfectly together.
Pop a few loaves into the oven while you decorate for the season!
