Mini Sub Sandwiches
Nothing screams "tailgate" more than a sub sandwich. This is a basic recipe that packs a ton of flavor into easy bite sized sandwiches, perfect for the parking lot of your favorite game!
Ingredients
- 2 pkgs. silver dollar rolls
- ¼ lb. thinly sliced turkey
- ¼ lb. thinly sliced ham
- ¼ lb. sliced cheddar cheese
- ¼ lb. sliced havarti cheese
- mustard
- mayonnaise
- olive oil
- dried oregano
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Set up a large cutting board so that you can work assembly line style.
- Slice open the rolls and lay out the halves one above the other.
- Slice open the rolls and lay out the halves one above the other.
- Spread mustard on half of the rolls and mayonnaise on the other half.
- Layer cheddar, ham, havarti, and turkey on the roll.
- Spray some olive oil on the top half of the roll, followed by a pinch of dried oregano, some salt, and some pepper.
- Top each sandwich and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
