Mini Sub Sandwiches

Nothing screams "tailgate" more than a sub sandwich. This is a basic recipe that packs a ton of flavor into easy bite sized sandwiches, perfect for the parking lot of your favorite game!
Course Snack
Servings 24 sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pkgs. silver dollar rolls
  • ¼ lb. thinly sliced turkey
  • ¼ lb. thinly sliced ham
  • ¼ lb. sliced cheddar cheese
  • ¼ lb. sliced havarti cheese
  • mustard
  • mayonnaise
  • olive oil
  • dried oregano
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Set up a large cutting board so that you can work assembly line style.        
  • Slice open the rolls and lay out the halves one above the other.
  • Slice open the rolls and lay out the halves one above the other.
  • Spread mustard on half of the rolls and mayonnaise on the other half.
  • Layer cheddar, ham, havarti, and turkey on the roll.
  • Spray some olive oil on the top half of the roll, followed by a pinch of dried oregano, some salt, and some pepper.
  • Top each sandwich and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
