Treat Tuesday-Chocolate Fudge Shortbread Bars

If you like chocolate, this dessert if for you.  If you like shortbread, this is the dessert for you.  If you like chocolate AND shortbread…you have to make these bars today!

First the crust which is a basic shortbread dough with some cocoa added in and mixed until it is nice and crumbly.  Press it into the pan and bake.

Once the crust is complete add some sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and vanilla to a pan and melt until nice and smooth.

Wait to lick the bowl until you spread the chocolate mixture on top of the crust!

Dot the top with extra chocolate chips and bake once more until set.

These are wonderfully, gooey, fudgey, chocolatey bars.

This pan will be empty before sundown.
