Wine of the Week-Mobius Chardonnay

MobiusI admit, I bought this wine because of the label.  I love it when a vineyard is creative with their packaging!  I had to look up the definition of Mobius, “a surface with only one side and one boundary component.”  The back of this wine bottle show the making of a paper Mobius strip and I found this fun explanation on Wikipedia:  A Möbius strip made with a piece of paper and tape. If an ant were to crawl along the length of this strip, it would return to its starting point having traversed the entire length of the strip (on both sides of the original paper) without ever crossing an edge.  So how could you not enjoy a bottle of Chardonnay that comes with an educational lesson?!  All, that being said, this is a delicious full bodied 2012 Chardonnay that I enjoyed with a Margherita Pizza.

Bottled by Mobius Wines.
