Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese

If you are going to make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, go all out with these succulent mashers.


3 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes, washed, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup butter
1-8 oz. package cream cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream

Place potatoes in boiling water, and cook for 15-30 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain.
Mash potatoes with a potato masher.  Cube butter and cream cheese and add to hot mashed potatoes. Add cream, salt, and pepper.
