Sausage Balls

My mom would make these sausage balls for an appetizer every time company came over.  I always have to double the recipe because my family can’t get enough of them!  Mix these in a heavy duty electric mixer using the dough hook to get everything combined.


3 cups Bisquick
1 lb. bulk hot sausage
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Add all ingredients to a large mixer and blend at medium speed until a soft ball is formed.  Roll into small balls and bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until the tops are brown and slightly crispy.
