Ingredients:
2 red bell peppers, cut into strips
2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
1 onion, chopped
8 pork loin chops, with the bone
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup orange juice
1 Tablespoons chopped chipotle chile pepper in adobe sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Put peppers, celery, and onions in slow cooker. Sprinkle chops with garlic salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, cook chops, 4 at a time, in olive oil over medium heat until browned and both sides and then place chops in slow cooker. In a small bowl, stir together chicken broth, oranges juice, chopped chipotle pepper, and oregano. Pour over chops. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 3 hours.
