Garlic Mashed Potatoes

These are super fluffy and work great with flank steak.


4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup milk
6 Tablespoons butter
Salt & Pepper to taste

Place potatoes and garlic in a large pot and cover with cold water.  Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.  Check the potatoes with a fork to ensure they are tender.  Drain.  Place butter and milk in a saucepan over low heat until butter melts.  Mash the potatoes and add the milk and butter mixture, along with salt and pepper.
