Sausage-Cheese Rolls

My kids love these so I always make a double batch because they don't last long! You can buy pre-cooked sausage links, or cook them the night before to save time in the morning.
Servings: 10 rolls
Course: Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 10 1 oz. link sausages cooked
  • 2 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 11oz. can refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 Tablespoons cornmeal

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, and drain well.
  3. Cut cheese into strips.
  4. Roll each biscuit into a 4" circle on wax paper sprinkled with cornmeal.
  5. Place a cheese strip and sausage in the center of each biscuit.
  6. Fold over, and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
