Preheat oven to 350°.
Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy.
Add brown sugar and mix well.
Add eggs one at a time beating until blended.
Add vanilla.
Mix together flour, cocoa, espresso, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add to creamy mixture, beating until just blended. Stir in cinnamon chips.
Place a Tablespoon of dough onto cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Let cool on pan for 5 minutes and move to wire rack to cool completely.
