One Bowl Fudge Cookies

This recipe is great when you just want to make a few cookies and you crave something quick and delicious!
Course Dessert
Servings 2 dozen cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 5 Tablespoons butter
  • 7 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup light brown sugar firmly packed
  • cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.         
  •  In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Remove from heat and add the cocoa, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, stirring until mixture resembles coarse sand.
  • Add yogurt and vanilla, stirring to combine.
  • Add flour mixture stirring until moist.
  • Drop by level Tablespoons onto baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment.
  • Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes.  Let cool on pan for 5 minutes and remove to wire rack to cool completely.
