Homemade Bisquick

Find yourself in need of Bisquick but when you head to the pantry there is not a box to be had? Homemade Bisquick tastes just as good, if not better than the original! This recipe makes 1 cup of mix.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 Tablespoons cold unsalted sweet cream butter cut into small pieces

Instructions
 

  • In a medium size bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.,
  • Using a fork or pastry blender, add the butter pieces and blend until the mix resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Use as directed in recipes calling for Bisquick.
