Garlic Mashed Potatoes

These are super fluffy and work great with a flank steak.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet potatoes peeled and diced
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Place potatoes and garlic in a large pot and cover with cold water.  Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.  Check the potatoes with a fork to ensure they are tender.  Drain.   
  2. Place butter and milk in a saucepan over low heat until butter melts.
  3. Mash the potatoes and add the milk and butter mixture, along with salt and pepper.
