Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream

This recipe is a great no-cook mix and can be put in a 2-quart ice cream machine.
Servings: 2 quarts
Course: Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup chocolate syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped Oreo cookies

Method
 

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, use a hand mixer on low speed to combine the milk, chocolate syrup, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream.
  3. Cover and place the mix in the refrigerator until well chilled.
  4. Churn in an ice cream maker.
  5. As the mixture begins to thicken, scoop the Oreo cookies in and continue mixing until the ice cream is solid. Serve immediately. If leftovers are placed in the freezer, let sit on the counter for 15 minutes before scooping into dishes.
