Chocolate Cookie Bars

This is one of the easiest, four ingredient desserts that you can whip up, and oh how fabulous it tastes!  Make sure you let it cool completely before you cut the bars or they will not hold their shape.  I also think it tastes better if you grind up the graham crackers in the food processor versus buying the crumbs in a box.
Servings: 36 bars
Course: Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a 350° oven, melt the butter in a 13" x 9" pan.      
  3. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the melted butter.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crumbs.
  5.  Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top and lightly press them into the milk.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.  Let cool completely before cutting.  Store at room temperature.
